Just as Kelly predicted this movie did not scare me to death, but it was disturbing. It was just creepy and it had a very "V.C Andrews" story vibe to it with the very particular family, the too close brother-sister bond, and the mannequin, Pin. There were some scenes I was definitely not expecting to happen in this film, such as the nurse having sex with Pin, the father performing his daughter's abortion and the very adult conversation the two children were having about sex. These scenes definitely contributed to the creepiness factor of this film. But I can at least now say that I have seen it, when someone brings it up as it is an obscure Canadian horror film.
