Welcome to Kelly’s Taboo Terrors, a monthly podcast that explores the transgressive side of cinema. These movies, and discussions, are not for the faint of heart so listeners discretion is strongly advised.
It’s time to crack open a cold one as the first official season of Kelly’s Taboo Terrors is in full swing! In this episode, I am revisiting the often reviled necrophilia short film by director Nacho Cerda, Aftermath (1994). A powerful film without dialogue, Aftermath says wonders about the desecration of the body after death and how violent brutalizing corpses can be. Is this post-mortem rape or just another way to seek revenge? We discuss this and more on the inaugural episode of your new favorite film podcast.
My guest for this episode is the Masked Menace from the Quality Violent Cinema podcast, Goblin O’Riley. With his lack of cinematic knowledge and even less of a personality, Goblin has kept his role in the QVC universe just by showing up. He's also the deeply disturbed brain behind Red Lust, aka Bloodlust XXX, and is 1/3 of the brains behind Slave Dolls 2: Red Rooms, now available from New Film Order. When not ruining podcasts or filming disgusting fetish gore/porn, he can be found reading about psychology, philosophy, and esoteric knowledge. He also has a cat named Django, and she's pretty rad.
